Johnny paints the story of the wild pigeon which is connected to the ahakeye story.  The ahakeye is a bush plum or currant. These are both very important stories for Johnny that belong to his country, Ilkawerne. In this piece, white arrows are pigeon tracks. Concentric circles represent Aremela, a sacred rock hole.
