  • About the Artists

Our vibrant and dynamic artists are from the Utopia region; a large remote area of Central Australia which, until recently, had no government funded art centre. As a result of their pioneering efforts, they have one of the strongest and richest art histories.

  • Alhepalh by Janice Clarke Kngwarreye (SOLD)

    30cm x 30cm

The delicate designs in this painting are inspired by the Alhepalh flower.

Alhepalh is a sparsely branched acacia shrub that is found abundantly near Janice's home in Utopia. It produces small soft coated brown seeds that were once used to make damper (bread) and small fragrant yellow flowers.
