Conkerberries (oft Buschpflaumen genannt) sind eine beliebte süße Brombeere. Sie wachsen nur ein paar Wochen im Jahr auf der Pflanze ( Carissa lanceolata ). Das Volk der Ahalpere sammelte jedoch reichlich davon, lagerte sie trocken und legte sie vor dem Verzehr erneut in Wasser. Der Conkerberry-Baum ist ein wirrer, stacheliger Strauch, der bis zu 2 m hoch werden kann. Nach dem Regen blühen duftende weiße Blumen. Es weist auch medizinische Eigenschaften auf. Wie andere Maler in ihrer Gemeinde verwendet Kate Punkte, um Conkerberries darzustellen.
