Top 3 recommended videos to watch if you're new to collecting aboriginal art

Here is a collection of video's I recommend watching if you're interested in seeing what Utopia is like, or 'meeting' some of these remote aboriginal artists. I had a hand in making these videos during the time I worked at Mbantua Gallery in Alice Springs. They are what I call little home-made videos with love, and I enjoyed every minute of it! I hope you enjoy.

1. Aboriginal artist Lena Pwerle painting 'Soakages'

This is a collection of video clips of aboriginal artist Lena Pwerle painting several pieces - some in her home in Utopia and others in Mbantua Gallery's studio in Alice Springs. This video was originally created for an exhibition of Lena Pwerle and fellow Utopian Jeannie Mills works, titled "Women Leaders", a successful exhibition in 2010.  2.  Aboriginal artists Lucky, Lily and Michelle Lion painting with ink bottles

Watch Aboriginal artists from Arnkawneyerr in Utopia; Lucky Morton Kngwarrey, Lily Lion Kngwarrey, Michelle Lion Kngwarrey as they paint their Dreamings. The tool they are using are ink bottles with different sized nibs.
