Ntyeny ist das Alyawarr-Wort für die Rote Mallee ( Eucalyptus pachyphylla ), und ngkwarl ist das Wort für eine süße oder honigfarbene Blume. Zusammen beziehen sie sich auf die süße rote Mallee-Blume. Der Rote Mallee ist ein kleiner Baum mit einer Höhe von 4 bis 6 Metern und glatter rosafarbener Rinde. Es hat dicke und ledrige grüne Blätter und bringt große rote Nüsse und gelbe Blüten hervor. Diese Blüten sind wegen der ausreichenden Menge an Honig, die sie produzieren, begehrt und können direkt aus der Blüte gesaugt werden. Die Blüten können auch in Wasser eingeweicht werden, um ein süßes Getränk zuzubereiten.
