Lisa Mills lives a traditional Aboriginal life in the Utopia region; her home land.  Born at MacDonnell Downs Station, just north of Irrwelty, Lisa grew up between both Irrwelty and Amperlatwaty (further north) where she went to Amperlatwaty school. Now Lisa lives with her husband Damien Petrick (whose mother is well known artist Josie Petrick Kemarre) and daughter Shakira where they love to collect sugar bag and other bush tuckers. 

Lisa started painting on canvas in 2006 and predominately paints the Bush Yam Dreaming belonging to Irrwelty.
